Another exciting week is here with the drop of much anticipated trailers such as Stree 2, Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency and more. But wondering what to watch this week? Well, this week is also packed with exciting films and series ranging from crime, romance, and thriller, to literal alien invasions! From Kalki 2898 AD, A Quiet Place: Day One to Civil War, here is a list of series and films across OTT and theatres that you can binge-watch this week.

1. Kalki 2898 AD (Theater)

The concept of the film Klaki 2898 AD revolves around a dystopian society and ancient Indian Hindu mythology, and spans millennia, from the events of the Mahabharata in 3102 BC (the start of the Kali Yuga) to 2898 AD. The city of Kashi is the only city existing and is under the rule of a totalitarian called ‘complex’ while everyone waits for the entry of Kalki, the tenth and final avatar of lord Vishnu. It stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and is directed by Nag Ashwin.

2. Jatt And Juliet 3 (Theater)

A successful franchise Jatt and Juliet has a new instalment on the way. The Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa starer film revolves around Fateh, a police officer who falls in love with Pooja, his boss. But a twist occurs when a new person joins their crazy duo while solving a crime in Canada! The film will hit the theatres on June 27.

3. A Quiet Place: Day 1 (Theater)

Directed by Michael Sarnoski, the story involves a woman named Sam leading a normal life when suddenly the city of New York comes under the attack of aliens. Sam and other survivors try finding their way to safety when they learn that they need to be silent during their quest as the mystery creatures can sense even the slightest sound! The film stars Joseph Quinn, Lupita Nyong`o, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou in lead roles. A Quiet Place: Day 1 is released on June 28.

4. I Am: Celine Dion (Prime Video)

I Am: Celine Dion is a moving documentary that peeps into the intimate life of the renowned Canadian singer Celine Dion. The documentary is a tribute to the fans including the journey of her incredible journey to becoming a successful singer as well as her battles with the Stiff Person Disease. The documentary is set to release on June 25.

5. Worst Roommate Ever Season 2 (Netflix)

Netflix has finally announced the second part of the Domini Hofmann directorial Worst Roommate Ever. The show explores the lives of two people who unintentionally let dangerous outsiders into their homes. In five engrossing instances, this five-part documentary series introduces viewers to infamous people including Jamison Bachman, K.C. Joy, and Dorothea Puente through four separate stories from North and South America. The last chapter takes place over two episodes since it is so intense. The series is set to release on June 26.

6. Sharmajee Ki Beti (Prime Video)

The Tahira Kashyap directorial Sharmajee Ki Beti revolves around the lives of 4 ladies who share the same surname. The film delves deeply into the life of each Sharma ji ki beti, who are all in different ages of their life but are dealing with patriarchy. It is a beautiful culmination of empowerment and laughter with a star-studded cast of Divya Dutt, Sakshi Tanwar, Saiyami Kher and more. The film is set to have a digital release on June 28.

7. The 90’s Show Part 2 (Netflix)

The series takes you back to point one- Wisconsin where an excited Leia returns to her grandparent’s house for an exciting summer. But little did she think of the series of drama that would surround the town. The humour-filled series is a good watch for the fans of the original show and is set to release on June 27.

8. Rautu Ka Raaz (Zee5)

The Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Rautu Ka Raaz is a crime thriller. The Anand Surapur directorial involves an inspector Deepak Negi who is suffering from PTSD, told to solve the murder of a school student in a small hill station. The film unfolds some dark secrets that he finds in the serene town.

9. A Family Affair (Netflix)

A Family Affair stars Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman, and Joey King in lead roles. The romantic comedy revolves around the life of a young woman who finds out that her boss is dating her widowed mother. This involves a series of humour and drama in the lives of the three! The film is set to have a digital release on June 28.

10. Civil War (Prime Video)

The Alex Garland directorial Civil War is based in the dystopian future where a photojournalist Lee Smith played by Kirsten Dunst with her team on their way to document the second American Civil War. The film examines the human cost of war and the ethical conundrums that people who watch it face. It stars Cailee Spaeny, Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, and more in the lead roles. It is set to release on June 28.
